AT GOSHEN:
2011: Was second on the team with a .265 batting average, 35 hits, seven doubles, and 22 runs batted in... also scored 16 runs, had a double, home run, and 23 walks while playing the outfield and serving as designated hitter... hit safely in 27 games... went season-best 3-for-3 against Spring Arbor (4/2)... helped Goshen to win over Concordia (3/2) with two-run home run.
2010: Made 42 starts and 45 appearances as a sophomore... made move to outfield after playing first base primarily as a freshman... batted .282 in 124 at bats with seven doubles, two triples, a homer, and 23 driven in... posted team-high 21 walks for on base percentage of .389... was perfect 4-of-4 on stolen bases... both career triples came in 3-for-3, 5 RBI game against IU Northwest on 4/17... hit solo home run against Indiana Tech two days before.
2009: Played in 50 games his first year in a Goshen uniform...hit at a .299 clip with 21 RBIs and 23 runs scored in 147 at bats...on the defensive side of the ball he was fielding at a .973 clip... had 11 multi-hit games, including the last five of the season... posted three hits twice (4/1 vs. Indiana Tech and 4/25 vs. Grace)... hit first career home run on 4/25 in second game against Grace.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Jim Lindeman at Rolling Meadows High School... led team to River Valley League championship as a senior... Des Plaines Mayor's Cup Home Run Derby runner-up... on the 8-semester honor roll... won Student of the Quarter four times.

PERSONAL:
Born on February 16... parents are Russell and Pamela Cannizzo... siblings are Phil (26) and Natalie (18)... admires his parents because, "They have always done anything and everything they can for me when I need them"... has two double letters in all three of his names.
