AT GOSHEN:
2011: In first season as a Maple Leaf, Mackowiak was named Second Team All Mid-Central College Conference... was also picked to the All Freshman Team... finished the year second in the MCC at 4.9 digs per set... tallied 574 total digs, more than double any other player on the roster... tallied double-digit digs 28 times, including a streak of 22 straight matches... her 4.9 digs per set was also the second highest single-season rate in program history... led the Leafs with 40 service aces and had 36 kills from the back row... played in all 32 matches and led the team with 117 sets played... posted a career high 42 digs in a five-set victory over Michigan Dearborn on 10/28.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for Coach Mealy Mears at John Glenn High School… named Softball MVP, 1st Team Conference, Most Aces in Conference, Team MVP Volleyball… Honor Roll… also participated in softball.
PERSONAL:
Born on April 7… parents are Pat Mackowiak and Diane Fischer… siblings are Megan and Matt Mackowiak … chose Goshen because "of athletics and majors"… admires sister because "she was an awesome volleyball player and taught me about the game"… little known fact is "I am a HUGE Michigan State fan."
