AT GOSHEN:
2011: One of just two players on the roster to start all 18 contests for the Maple Leafs in 2011... notched first career goal in first match of the season, a 7-1 road victory at Andrews University... scored twice in conference play, including in the 3-1 victory over Saint Francis, Goshen's first MCC win since 2007.
2010: Played in all 17 games as a freshman, including nine starts… led the team with two assists.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for Coach Dennis Yoder at Bethany Christian High School… named to Sports Fest East All-Star Team… Two-time Indiana Athletic Honors Award… also participated in track and field.
PERSONAL:
Born on December 12… parents are Alan and Carla Weldy… siblings are Malaina and Landon Weldy… chose Goshen because "good nursing program, loved the team and the coaches, the atmosphere"… admires mom because " she had back surgery and is recovering at record speed. She walks all the time and still makes me food all while in a back brace"… little known fact is "I used to be on a swim team."
