AT GOSHEN:
2011: Season best time of 23:46 came at the Grace College Lancer Invitational.
2010: Posted a career best 5K at the Defiance College Invitational (22:32).
2009: Ran to a career best 5k time of 23:18 at the Forester Invitational and Huntington University… best 1 mile split was also in that race at 7:01… finished fifth on the team in the Adrian Short Challenge (13:53).

HIGH SCHOOL:
Ran for Coach Marty Gingerich at Iowa Mennonite School… also competed in three varsity seasons on volleyball and two in track and field… was named to all conference team in volleyball as a sophomore… twice named Academic All Conference… ranked fourth in her graduating class… on High Honor Roll throughout high school.

PERSONAL:
Born on March 2… parents are Lonnie and Julie Bartel… chose Goshen because "of the diverse opportunities they provided in one place"… admires her grandmother because "she is a caring individual who will sacrifice everything for others"… little known fact is she played softball from first to eighth grade.
