HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Jermaine Cooper at Veritas Academy, where he was named Team MVP for his Junior and Senior seasons … also played soccer and baseball in high school.

PERSONAL:
Parents are Rick and Ruth Leonard.  He has an older brother Neil (20).  Thomas chose Goshen College because of his Mennonite faith and the ability to play basketball here.  He admires his grandpa for his supportiveness and his great attitude … you might not know that Thomas lived in China for three and a half years when he was nine … his best athletic moment was sinking a game-winning buzzer beater in his last high school basketball game.
