OCT. 12 - FINAL THOUGHTS

Now that midterms and fall break are behind us, we are back for the last time to update you on the women's cross country team. We've hit the final one-week stretch leading up to our Crossroads League Championship at Indiana Wesleyan University this Saturday. We have one last shot at running our best and possibly clocking new personal records. This season has been long but well worth the hours and energy we have all invested in it. Here's a short list to leave you with some thoughts and reflections on this season:

-This year the team chemistry exceeded our expectations.

-The large group of seniors will be INCREDIBLY missed by all of us (come and run with us next year!)

-Doug Yoder has not lost his spunk or his mustache.

-We are grateful for Melissa, Justin, and Miles Gillette for running along beside us and giving us expert advice.

-We still have the best-looking and most intelligent athletic team on campus. We are also the most humble.

We thank you for your commitment to the college and to us—whether you've been one to come out to a race or have simply kept up with the student blogs, thank you! We hope we've provided you with a new perspective into cross country at the collegiate level. We also hope we have inspired you to go out and run.

Run on,

Audrey Thill
Hannah Barg
