GOSHEN, Ind. — The Goshen College men's basketball team will host its third annual golf outing on Friday, August 25.

The day will begin with a shotgun start at noon Eastern time followed by 18 holes of golf, including snacks and drinks during the round, and will be followed by a meal at approximately 5:30. Prizes will be given to the winning team and to contest winners throughout the day, and the dinner will also include a silent auction. The golf portion is set up as a Texas scramble, which ensures that each player's drive is used at least three times over the course of 18 holes, while still allowing the freedom to use any one player's drive as many as nine times.

For 2017, the event moves to the Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, a 6,944-yard, par-72 layout located in Miami County, Indiana. The venue is approximately 70 miles south of Goshen, and selected to be equidistant from the GC campus, Fort Wayne and Indianapolis. Golf Magazine ranks Rock Hollow the sixth-best public course in Indiana.

The cost for the outing is $100 per individual or $400 for a foursome, and registration materials are available at https://www.goshen.edu/register/mens-basketball-golf-outing/ or by clicking here.
