Sophomore Balazs Pirot Selected To All-Crossroads League Team

HARTFORD CITY, Ind. – The Crossroads League announced its 12 member men's tennis all league team and sophomore Balazs Pirot was among the honorees.

One of six unanimous selections by the conference coaches, Pirot had a 17-3 overall mark in singles play this fall.

The Herceghalom, Hungary native was 10-1 in dual matches this fall, including a 8-1 record in Crossroads League play.  He also recorded the program's deepest run ever in the ITA Regional Tournament, reaching the semifinal stage.

Pirot was also part of the Maple Leafs No. 1 doubles team - along with Luis Perez - which recorded an 8-4 mark in dual matches.  In two seasons, Pirot has tallied 26 singles and 17 doubles victories in a Maple Leaf uniform.
