GOSHEN, Ind. – While spring sports are still wrapping up their seasons, the Goshen College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the release of its 2013 Fall Schedules.
The Maple Leaf volleyball team will be the first team in official action, competing in the Concordia University (Mich.) Tournament August 16-17. The first home event for any team will be when the men's tennis team hosts Indiana Wesleyan on August 27.

CROSS COUNTRY (Full Schedule)
After finishing in the top three in each of the last two league championships, the men's cross country team will open its 2013 campaign with its own Goshen Hokum Karem on September 7. The women will run at all six of their scheduled meets as well, including the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids on October 26, which often features several of the top programs in the country. The Crossroads League Championships will be held on November 9 in Winona Lake, Ind.
VOLLEYBALL (Full Schedule)
The Maple Leafs will open head coach Jim Routhier's sixth season with three-straight multii-team events on the road. Their first 12 matches of the season will come away from Goshen with the first league contest of the season at Bethel College on August 29. The Leafs home debut will come when they host Marian University in the midst of a nine-match league streak on September 13.
MEN'S SOCCER (Full Schedule)
Tavi Mounsithiraj's boys get their 2013 season underway on August 28 with a trip to Purdue University Calumet. They make their home debut three days later, hosting Siena Heights University. The Maple Leafs have three Chicagoland Athletic Conference teams and five Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference sides on their schedule. They open Crossroads League play against IWU on September 18 with other home highlights included Moody Bible (Homecoming) and Bethel (Senior Night).
WOMEN'S SOCCER (Full Schedule)
The Maple Leaf women also open on August 28, but will play their first match under head coach Dale Stoltzfus at home (vs. Purdue Calumet). Goshen will host a two-day tournament (Maple Leaf Classic) September 6-7 with Concordia, Illinois Tech, and Rochester all hitting the pitch of the Goshen College Soccer Complex.. They will then open league play on September 21 against Grace and host Trine University for senior night on October 22.
MEN'S TENNIS (Full Schedule)
The longest tenured head coach at Goshen College - Stan King - will open his 15th season with a home match against Indiana Wesleyan University on August 27. The Maple Leafs will host a pair of double headers this season with Huntington and Cornerstone in Goshen on September 7 and Grace and Alma playing at the GC Tennis Complex on September 21. The Crossroads league team tournament will be held October 1-5.
WOMEN'S TENNIS (Full Schedule)
The Maple Leafs open the season at 20-time defending league champion Indiana Wesleyan on August 27. Their first home match will come less than a week later when they host Saint Francis on September 3. The Crossroads league team tournament will be held October 1-5.
