GAME NOTES: Men | Women
GOSHEN, Ind. – The Goshen College men's and women's basketball teams continue Crossroads League play with match ups against Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Taylor University this week.
The men travel to Ohio to face the Cougars Tuesday night with the cooresponding women's match up taking place in Goshen Wednesday night. The Maple Leafs and Trojans of Taylor will meet on Saturday with the men playing in Goshen and the women in Upland.

THE CONFERENCE TURN: The midweek match up with Mount Vernon Nazarene completes the first half of Crossroads League play. Starting with Taylor University on Saturday, the Maple Leafs start the second half with nine league games completing the regular season schedule.
MEN OPENING NOTE: The Maple Leafs enter this week on an eight game losing streak, the longest in the six-year tenure of head coach Gary Chupp. They last won 91-65 vs. Trinity International at home on December 4. It is their longest losing streak since finishing the 2005-06 season with 10 defeats in a row.
WOMEN OPENING NOTE: The Maple Leafs have dropped six contests in a row overall, last winning 77-73 in overtime at Warner University on December 29. They won two of three during a stretch in December following final exams for the first semester.
SHARING THE BALL (MEN): Goshen ranks #45 in the nation with 268 assists overall, but consistency has been key. They are 0-5 in games that they have less than 10 assists as a team and are 1-11 in contests which they have less than 15.
THOMAS BREAKING OUT (WOMEN): Freshman Jo'Mani Thomas is now leading the team in both scoring and rebounding after a breakout couple of weeks. She has tallied seven-straight double-digit scoring efforts and has at least six rebounds in each of those contests, including her first career double-double (15 points, 12 rebounds) against Huntington.
