GAME NOTES: Men | Women
GOSHEN, Ind. – The Goshen College men's and women's basketball teams both return to Crossroads League play tonight as they face off against Marian University. The men (7-7, 0-3 CL) host the Knights (9-4, 1-2) inside Gunden Gymnasium at 7 p.m., while the women (2-13, 0-3) travel to Indianapolis to face off against Marian (11-3, 1-2).
LEAGUE PLAY FROM HERE ON OUT: Non-conference play is done for the Maple Leafs who play 15-straight contests against Crossroads League foes heading into the league tournament in late February.
MEN'S LAST TIME OUT: The Maple Leafs dropped a pair of games in Florida to end the 2012 calendar year. They lost a thriller to host Warner University 91-86 despite 22 points and 10 rebounds from Jerron Jamerson and then were defeated 91-71 by NAIA DII #6 Davenport University (Mich.).
WOMEN'S LAST TIME OUT: The Maple Leafs split a pair of games in Florida to close the 2012 portion of their schedule. Senior Mary Hathaway led the team with 22 points and 19 rebounds in a 77-73 overtime victory at Warner University on Saturday before Goshen fell 91-59 to host Webber International on Sunday.
