MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY BLOG
Welcome to week 4 of our blog! This week, we had difficulty coming up with a topic so we would like to reiterate our invitation to you to submit suggestions about what YOU want us to talk about! WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY BLOG
This past week at cross country has been another interesting one, with many of our team members getting sick and having a weekend without a meet. Wednesday and Thursday practices were short quite a few athletes, including myself, as many of us caught colds and other various illnesses (probably due to all of the new germs everyone is exposed to). This weekend was a great time to catch up on some sleep and recover since we did not have a meet. We are all eager to race again on Friday as we head off on a 5 hour car ride to Iowa for the third meet of the season. Perhaps missing all of our afternoon classes on Friday is incentive enough to run a solid race. Our team is seeing improvements each and every day as we continue to push each other both individually and as a group, and I am excited to see how everyone can perform in our meet on Saturday. Hopefully having an extra week of rest will mean we are especially ready to take on the competition. READ MORE
