GOSHEN, Ind. – The Goshen College women's soccer program is excited to host training for up-and-coming coaches.
The Maple Leafs will be hosting a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) E License Course on July 6-8. The National "E" license is an 18-hour course, which covers the elementary principles of coaching and prepare interested coaches for leading youth athletes and teams.
"In today's coaching career, having licenses will boost your chances of securing a great job," Goshen College women's soccer coach Fabio dos Santos explained. "It will also teach you the little things that you do not think about when preparing your practice or dealing with your players."
For more information on the course, contact dos Santos at fabiods@goshen.edu or you can register directly online. Plans are also already in the works for a USSF D License Course in February.
"We are excited to bring the course opportunity to Goshen College, allowing coaches access to the programs and introducing our athletic facilities to all levels of coaches," dos Santos added.
