Maria Bischoff
San Diego, Calif.
Rancho Bernardo High School
"Maria is a great addition to Goshen. She has very good vision of the field and will contribute to our squad in all aspects having played for one of the top Southern California teams (San Diego Surf). She is the leading scorer for her club team and has the potential to have a big impact on the MCC and NAIA. She has the ability to place the ball in the only spots keepers can't reach and I know Maria and Goshen will be a perfect fit."
Gina Gautche
Goshen, Ind.
Bethany Christian High School
"Gina is a local standout from Bethany Christian where she played in several different positions, but accumulated 17 goals and 14 assists. Gina will surprise a lot of people. She is a quiet girl, but I see the fire. As coaches, we will develop her to become a very dangerous player to other teams. Gina is a great student as well and will be a great academic addition to the program and school."
Nicola and Amanda Duffy
Ballyfermot, Ireland
"Nicola is joining Goshen College directly from Ireland this fall, while sister Amanda has already been a part of the Maple Leaf program this spring. Nicola and Amanda will add needed chemistry to our program.
Both of them have been playing soccer for awhile and have been playing at a very high level with competitions like the Dublin Cup, League Championships, and All Ireland Cup under their belts."
Briana Schrock
Purdue University
"Briana is a transfer student from Purdue University. Her soccer experience includes four years as a starter at local Westview High School and several years with FC Indiana.
Briana is a mature defender and she is coming to Goshen eager to make a difference in the program. She has played with a few of the current players and is very excited to rejoin them as a Maple Leaf."
Samantha Danforth
Upland, Calif.
Cochise College
"Samantha comes to Goshen from Cochise College where she was a starting defender as a freshman. Samantha also has played at one of the highest club teams in Southern California where she had a stellar career. I am very happy to have her here! She will bring a strong voice and help our defense be successful. Sam will be a great fit to our program and school. We look forward to have the SoCal style of soccer at Goshen."
Anneliese Baer
St. Louis, Mo.
Washington High School
"Anneliese brings to us a great amount of experience as a four-year varsity starter in high school. She has also played for some of the top teams in the St. Louis area like Vardar and St. Louis Gallagher. Anneliese will be part of a great future for Goshen Soccer. She has the presence, skills, and intensity I was looking for. As a coach, I can say she understands what we are looking for and I know she can deliver.
